The new 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt edition just launched on North American International Auto Show, and this year is the 50th anniversary Bullitt Edition. Now, what does that mean?
2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt Changes
The famous Steve McQueen film Bullitt is turning 50 this year, and you just know Ford wasn't going to let that anniversary go unnoticed. So naturally, this green beauty is the new Mustang Bullitt a performance-oriented version of the favorite pony car. The new 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt has a deep badge and features unique 19-inch wheels and red Brembo brakes.
Regarding exterior design, the 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt only available in two colors, the shade of green called dark Highland Green and Shadow Black. Rounding out the exterior highlights, there's a different fake gas cap that showcases the Bullitt logo.
Inside the car features a cool cue ball shift knob, an excellent standout since. The vehicle is only available with a manual transmission. That transmission is mated to a revised, five-liter engine that now makes at least 475 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. The engine improvements come from an open-air induction system and a Shelby GT 350 intake manifold with 87-millimeter throttle bodies. The car also has a unique engine note thanks to a new exhaust setup room.
You can also get this car with Recaro seats Magna ride and blind spot monitoring. And all of these performance changes mean that this car has a top speed of 163 miles per hour. For making the reveal of the Bullitt extra special by debuting another Bullitt, the original 1968 fastback date was into the actual movie, as you know what it's quite cool to see these two cars side-by-side. And the entire vehicle will be available summer of 2018. So hopefully we'll have more details as we get closer what's on sale date and price which we also don't know yet. Stay tuned if you want to see more reviews. 2019 Honda Insight Hybrid Concept, Specs, Release Date
