2017 Nissan Titan- Nissan is certainly back in the half ton truck game with its redesign 2017 Nissan Titan. Not to be confused with the massive Titan XD, the regular Nissan Titan is a much nicer truck in almost every way. Truck buyers want power and the Titan 5.6 liter V8 is one energetic engine.
2017 Nissan Titan Redesign
Nissan completely redesigned the Titan for 2016 and before that they hardly did anything since the truck came out in 2003. But there are two reasons what the Titan was so unpopular. First, there's a lot of newer better trucks out in the last decade, and secondly Titan the Japanese. Even though it's made can't Mississippi and designed entirely in America, the domestic brands have always ruled the American truck market. They simply build better performing more reliable trucks and literally a hundreds of varieties. And there's nothing Nissan, Honda or Toyota can do to change that.
2017 Nissan Titan Interior
Inside the Titan cabin is quite roomy. Luxury features such as a dual zone automatic climate control and heated front seats are available. The driver seat has a huge range of power height adjust ability. The rear seat is also spacious, but the seat back is very upright the short bottom cushion gives hardly any thigh support. Seeing out of the Titan isn't easy, however the side windows are somewhat small and the windshield pillar has a thick base.
The steering and brakes work, just fine nothing to complain about here. And even though it's not as refined as its competitors the platinum reserve trim packs plenty of luxury for all your passengers. Got really soft two-tone leather seats diamond stitching, heated on all four outdoor positions and cooled up front.
The really comfortable supportive over long drives. And the double pane windows up front make the truck really quiet. There’s wood trim or what appears to pasture wood trim, on the doors and heated steering wheel plus more contrast stitching on the dash. But the rear seats don't recline, no sunroof in general. The build quality and luxury amenities can't top those Dodge Ram, GMC or Ford.

The heavier Titan XD is pretty unique among all trucks. It’s rated between with a half-ton and a 3/4 ton pickup can haul, so its part heavy duty part light duty. The XD comes with an optional 5 liter Cummins diesel.

2017 Nissan Titan Fuel Economy
The transmission shifts really smoothly. On the throttle is a bit lazy, you really have to figure foot into it to get the power. But once that power comes it stays strong and it lasts a long time. The fuel economy for this vehicle 15 miles per gallon city 21 Highway.
The tailgate can optionally be locked with the remote plus it's stamped so that means it won't slam down when you open it. Ride quality is adequate like any full-size pickup. The Titan gets smoother the more you pack in it .it's only stiff and jarring over uneven pavement.
2017 Nissan Titan Features
Platinum reserve trims tax everything inside except for a rear seat entertainment system. Got a telescoping steering wheel, rain sensing wipers 360-degree cameras, parking sensors and cross-traffic and blind spot alert. Those are especially useful on such a big vehicle. Apple CarPlay and android auto or not offered. The Nissan connect system now offers remote unlocking, stolen vehicle alerts and automatic 911 notifications if you're involved in crash.
But overall this infotainment system is really dated looking. However it is fast and easy to use especially with the heart button flanking the touchscreen, I really appreciate that. Now this cars 12 speaker Rockford Fosgate audio system got a really big subwoofers it drowns out everyone else in the cabin. The LED headlights work superbly in dark woods.
