Now in its 10th anniversary, Nissan has treated the 2018 Nissan Qashqai Facelift to a little makeover. On the outside with a couple of new colors including the vivid blue. And new alloy body styling the most striking of all is the grille and headlights and a set of new rear lights.
2018 Nisan Qashqai Engine
Nissan hasn't messed around with the engine range, so there's still the choice of 113 bhp 1.2-Liter turbo petrol, a 1.6 turbo petrol with 161 bhp, and a couple of diesel 108 bhp 1.5 at 1.6 128 bhp. Unsurprisingly it's the 1.5 as the greenest and Nissan says it should return a 70 MPG. their recent years, the diesel engine has seemed like the perfect fit in a small SUV.
Now there's a choice of two gearboxes a 6-speed manual, which is a little bit notchy if I'm honest with you, but it is better than the CVT. That feels like a conventional automatic and while have done quite a good job. The 2018 Nissan Qashqai is also a little quieter on the road. The Qashqai refined in quiet car on the move.
2018 Nissan Qashqai SUV Interior
The first inspection it would seem as though Nissan hasn't bothered with the interior because it all looks pretty much identical to the old car. You will notice the new steering wheel, and its covered in some beautiful leather.
On the particular trim level, the 2018 Nissan Qashqai got some brand new quilted leather seats, and there are a few trim differences that there's a new piece of trim that goes around the dashboard. But generally speaking, it is tough to feel its age, especially when you compare this car to the brand new Peugeot 3008.
Nissan says the infotainment system is all-new, as well although it doesn't look it, it is still straightforward to use especially with the shortcut buttons. But the screen is still tiny the graphics are a bit grainy, and if you go to the parking camera, the resolution isn't particularly good at it either.
Now on this early pre-production car, the quality is still excellent. There are lots of soft touch plastics around the cabin and generally speaking it all feels pretty well-made.
The glove box most certainly does large enough for a 1.5-liter bottle of water. And under the essential chubby, we've got an ample space. Now all models the 2018 Nissan Qashqai are pretty well equipped, but I would recommend going for the mid spec and connector model because it has everything you need. But later on in 2017, you will be able to all your Qashqai was something called pro pilot. Now it's a system that steers brakes and accelerates the 2018 Nissan Qashqai SUV in its lane on the away.
2018 Nisan Qashqai Safety Features
The 2018 Nissan Qashqai SUV come with LED daytime running lights and a be able to radio. While its range-topping techno plus, get leather seats, a panoramic roof, Bose stereo, 19-inch alloys and safety codes including blind spot warning moving object detection, intelligent driver alert, and rear cross-traffic alert. The We'd go for the mid-range and connector as it's the best value, which its standard 18-inch alloys, sports seats, kick plates and Nissan's new touch screen with Sat-Nav.
With the panoramic glass roof, the 2018 Nissan Qashqai SUV got a good amount of head room as well. Now, of course, there are I six points in both outs of seats. And you can just about fit three people. But once you're in the middle headroom is a little bit tight. And it is a bit hard and uncomfortable sitting on the seat, but for short journeys, it will be okay.
